It contributes to improved creep resistance and higher strength at temperatures above 1000°F. 347h stainless steel pipe fittings are tougher than 304 steel. It can be welded using resistance and fusion methods. It can be quenched with water in a temperature range of 1010 to 1193°C. It does not respond to heat treatment, and its hardness and strength can be increased by cold working. Stainless steel 347 elbows are used to change the flow direction. Due to the demand for pipes, it is mainly available in two standard, 90 degree and 45 degree angle.
